The story of Dudogua
The Dudogua is a hybrid creature characterized by its plump body resembling that of a guinea pig, combined with the distinctive beak and flightless nature of the extinct dodo. It possesses soft, downy feathers interspersed with velvety fur, which serves both insulation and camouflage in its native habitat.
Special abilities
Beak Bash
The Dudogua delivers a powerful peck with its beak, targeting foes with surprising strength.
From the Dodo
Real-world basis: The dodo's beak was adapted for cracking open hard fruits and seeds, providing leverage in combat.
Furry Flurry
A rapid series of kicks from its hind legs that can disorient and damage opponents.
From the Guinea Pig
Real-world basis: Guinea pigs are known for their strong hind legs, allowing them to deliver effectively high-speed strikes.
Feather Shield
The Dudogua fluffs its feathers to create a protective barrier that absorbs incoming attacks.
From the Dodo
Real-world basis: The downy feathers provide thermal insulation and can also act as a shock absorber against physical impacts.
Cuddle Defense
It curls into a tight ball, using its fur and body size to deflect smaller attacks.
From the Guinea Pig
Real-world basis: The defensive posture of curling up is a common behavior in prey animals to minimize exposure to predators.
