The story of Bateaver
The Bateaver is a unique hybrid creature characterized by its stout, beaver-like body covered in sleek, dark fur, complemented by membranous wings reminiscent of a bat. Its webbed feet allow for proficient swimming, while the elongated, flat tail serves both as a rudder in water and a balancing tool in trees. The Bateaver possesses large, expressive eyes adapted for low-light environments, and its sharp incisors are ideal for gnawing on wood, making it both an adept builder and forager.
