The story of Chipmunkunk
The Chipmunkunk (Sciurus mephitis) is a small, agile mammal characterized by its striking fur pattern: a rich brown with distinct black stripes reminiscent of a chipmunk, contrasted with the white and black markings typical of skunks. This creature possesses a bushy tail that aids in balance and communication, and its small, rounded ears are keenly attuned to sounds in its environment. Its body is compact, measuring approximately 25 cm in length, with a weight ranging from 150 to 300 grams. The Chipmunkunk's scent glands are highly developed, allowing it to produce a pungent spray for defense, while its front paws are adept at foraging for food.
