The creature possesses a broad, barrel-shaped torso and powerful limbs ending in webbed feet, enabling it to navigate both water and land with ease. Adult Hippolephi can weigh over 3,000 kg and reach lengths of up to 4 meters, making them one of the largest terrestrial mammals.
