Reinhorse
- Habitat
- Found in the temperate forests and tundras of the northern hemisphere, the Reinhorse thrives in regions with cold winters and abundant vegetation. It often migrates to lower elevations during extreme weather, seeking shelter in wooded areas and open plains.
- Diet
- The Reinhorse is an herbivore, primarily grazing on grasses, shrubs, and lichen. In winter months, it utilizes its antlers to dig through snow to access hidden food sources, and it has a specialized digestive system that allows it to extract nutrients from fibrous plants.
The story of Reinhorse
The Reinhorse combines the sturdy physique of a horse with the distinctive antlers and fur coat of a reindeer, resulting in a majestic creature that stands about 5.5 feet at the shoulder. Its powerful legs and broad hooves are adapted for traversing snowy terrains, while its sleek, muscular body is covered in a dense, insulating coat that ranges from a deep chestnut to a snowy white. The antlers, which can grow up to three feet wide, are shed and regrown each year, aiding in foraging during harsh winters.
