Elepig
- Habitat
- The Elepig thrives in lush grasslands and savannahs, often near water sources like rivers and lakes. These environments provide ample food and social interaction opportunities, as Elepigs are known to form small herds.
- Diet
- The Elepig is an omnivorous forager, primarily feeding on a mixture of grasses, fruits, roots, and occasionally small invertebrates. Its strong trunk aids in digging up roots and reaching high branches for fruits, while its keen sense of smell helps locate food sources.
The story of Elepig
The Elepig is a remarkable hybrid creature, combining the massive stature of the elephant and the intelligent, social nature of the pig. This creature boasts a robust body with the thick, wrinkled skin of an elephant, adorned with sparse bristles akin to a pig's coarse hair. Its elongated trunk is delicately tapered, allowing it to manipulate objects and forage for food efficiently. The Elepig's ears are large and floppy, resembling those of a pig, yet retain the characteristic size and shape of an elephant's ears. With a strong, stocky build, it stands approximately 7 feet tall at the shoulder and weighs around 800 pounds, making it a formidable presence in its natural habitat.
Special abilities
Stampede Charge
The Elepig charges forward with tremendous force, using its weight and momentum to trample opponents.
From the Elephant
Real-world basis: The ability to use body mass and speed to inflict damage, similar to a bull elephant's charge.
Mud Sling
The Elepig uses its trunk to throw clumps of mud at enemies, temporarily blinding and disorienting them.
From the Pig
Real-world basis: Utilizes mud as a natural defense mechanism, leveraging the pig's instinct to wallow for protection.
Thick Skin
The Elepig's tough skin provides a natural armor, reducing damage from physical attacks.
From the Elephant
Real-world basis: The thick epidermis of elephants is known to provide substantial protection against environmental hazards.
Social Shield
When threatened, Elepigs huddle together, creating a protective barrier with their bodies to defend against predators.
From the Pig
Real-world basis: Social behavior observed in pigs, where group dynamics enhance survival against threats.
