The Hippowombat (Phascolocetus amphibius) is a robust and stocky mammal, showcasing the massive size of a hippopotamus with the dense, muscular build of a wombat. Its body is covered in a thick layer of grayish-brown fur, which is supplemented by a layer of tough, wrinkled skin akin to a hippo's. The Hippowombat possesses short, sturdy legs and webbed feet, enabling it to traverse both land and water with agility. Its head features a broad, flat snout with large, expressive eyes and powerful jaws filled with grinding molars, perfect for its herbivorous diet. The creature's ears are small and rounded, and its tail is short and stubby, resembling that of a wombat.
